How it works

1. Activate a basic Island by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Earthcraft by tapping Moonfolk Puzzlemaker.
3. Moonfolk Puzzlemaker triggers, causing you to scry 1.
4. Resolve the Earthcraft ability, untapping a basic Island.
5. Activate Freed from the Real by paying , untapping Moonfolk Puzzlemaker.
6. Repeat.

This curious loop turns the humble act of tapping your creature into an engine for infinite scrying, letting you filter through your entire library at will. Freed from the Real enchants Moonfolk Puzzlemaker to provide the mechanical heartbeat, using its own untap ability fueled by the mana you generate. To pay for that untap, Earthcraft lets you tap Moonfolk Puzzlemaker to untap a basic Island, which you then tap for blue mana.
