How it works

1. Activate a basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
2. Activate Ghave's first ability by paying 1 and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, creating two 1/1 Saproling creature tokens.
3. Activate Earthcraft by tapping a Saproling, untapping a basic land.
4. Activate a basic land by tapping it, adding 1.
5. Activate Earthcraft by tapping a Saproling, untapping a basic land.
6. Activate Ghave's second ability by paying 1 and sacrificing a Saproling, putting a +1/+1 counter on Ghave.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop spins up on the back of Earthcraft, which turns any of your creatures into wild mana producers by tapping them to untap a basic land. When you feed that mana into Ghave, Guru of Spores, its counter-removal ability creates a Saproling token that is immediately doubled into two by the replacement effect of Mondrak, Glory Dominus. Those extra tokens give you all the fodder you need to tap for more land untaps, sacrifice back to Ghave to restock its counters, and keep the engine humming indefinitely.
