How it works

1. Activate a basic Forest by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Obscuring Aether by paying 1, turning it face-down as a 2/2 creature.
3. Activate Earthcraft by tapping Obscuring Aether, untapping the Forest.
4. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Obscuring Aether, adding .
5. When Obscuring Aether dies, Yarus' second ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield face-down, then turning it face-up.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns the enchantment Obscuring Aether into a self-sustaining sacrifice engine by taking advantage of its unique ability to turn itself face down. You can continually tap the face-down Obscuring Aether to untap a basic land using Earthcraft, then sacrifice it to Thermopod for red mana. When it hits the graveyard, Yarus, Roar of the Old Gods immediately triggers to return it to the battlefield face down and turn it right back face up, resetting the entire cycle.
