How it works

1. Activate Kaya's third loyalty ability by removing three loyalty counters from it, exiling Hesitation and creating a token copy of it that is a 1/1 Spirit in addition to its other types.
2. Whenever a player casts a spell, the Hesitation token triggers, countering that spell and causing you to fail to sacrifice it due to The Master.
3. Repeat step 2 as necessary.

This clever lockdown locks opponents out of casting spells entirely by weaponizing Hesitation with the help of Kaya, Intangible Slayer and The Master, Multiplied. When Kaya uses her −3 ability to exile Hesitation and create a token copy of it, she sets up an infinite counterspell loop that bypasses the enchantment's usual self-sacrifice drawback. Because The Master, Multiplied features a static ability preventing triggered abilities from forcing you to sacrifice creature tokens, the Hesitation token triggers to counter an opponent's spell without having to destroy itself. As a result, the token stays safely on the battlefield ready to counter every subsequent spell your opponents try to cast.
