How it works

1. Cast Flickering Ward by paying .
2. Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Overlord of the Hauntwoods.
3. When Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, creating two tapped Everywhere land tokens.
4. When the Everywhere land tokens enter the battlefield, Tiller Engine triggers, untapping them.
5. Resolve the Flickering Ward spell.
6. Activate the two Everywhere tokens by tapping them, adding .
7. Activate Flickering Ward by paying , returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a simple enchantment bounce into a cascading engine by anchoring it to Displacer Kitten's noncreature blink trigger. When you cast Flickering Ward, the Kitten exiles and returns Overlord of the Hauntwoods, and thanks to Starfield Vocalist doubling entering-trigger effects, that entrance yields a double batch of Everywhere land tokens. Those lands immediately enter tapped, waking up Tiller Engine's ability to untap them so they can be tapped for mana to fund Flickering Ward's return to your hand. By repeating this process endlessly, you generate an infinite storm count alongside boundless landfall triggers and creature enters-the-battlefield events.
