How it works

1. Activate any number of lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
2. Activate Thaumatog by sacrificing a land.
3. Repeat step 2 until you control no lands.
4. Activate Aftermath Analyst by paying 3 and sacrificing it, returning all lands from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
5. When the lands enter, Emeria Shepherd and Tiller Engine trigger that many times.
6. Resolve all Tiller Engine triggers, untapping each land that entered.
7. Resolve an Emeria Shepherd trigger that was triggered by a Plains, returning Aftermath Analyst from your graveyard to the battlefield.
8. Resolve all other Emeria Shepherd triggers, returning any number of nonland permanents from your graveyard to either your hand or the battlefield.
9. Repeat.

This loop transforms a graveyard full of resources into an overwhelming engine of recursion and power. By using Thaumatog to feed your lands into the graveyard, you set the stage for Aftermath Analyst to pull them all right back with its activated ability, fueling a massive wave of landfall triggers. Every time those lands enter the battlefield tapped, Tiller Engine steps in to untap them so they're immediately ready to tap for mana again, while Emeria Shepherd capitalizes on those entering Plains to resurrect Aftermath Analyst and any other nonland permanents you need straight to the battlefield.
