How it works

  1. Activate Food Chain by exiling Lumra, adding seven G mana that can only be spent to cast creature spells.
  2. Choose to return Lumra to the command zone from exile.
  3. Activate Command Beacon's second ability by tapping and sacrificing it, putting Lumra from the command zone into your hand.
  4. Cast Lumra by paying 4G manaG mana.
  5. When Lumra enters, it triggers, causing you to mill four cards and return all land cards from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
  6. When the lands enter, Tiller Engine trigger that many times, untapping the lands.
  7. Repeat.

This clever Commander loop begins by using Food Chain to exile Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, generating a surplus of green mana while sending your giant elemental back to the command zone rather than letting it stay lost in exile. From there, Command Beacon steps in to effortlessly scoop Lumra straight from the command zone into your hand, letting you recast it cleanly for its standard mana cost. When Lumra re-enters the battlefield, its explosive triggered ability fills your graveyard by milling four cards before dragging every single land card resting there right back onto the battlefield tapped. This is where Tiller Engine shines as the crucial linchpin, immediately triggering to untap those newly arrived lands so they can be tapped for additional utility before you feed Lumra back to Food Chain to do it all over again.
