How it works

1. Activate Patron of the Moon by paying 1, putting Arid Archway from your hand onto the battlefield.
2. When Arid Archway enters the battlefield, it and Tiller Engine trigger.
3. Resolve the Tiller Engine trigger, untapping Arid Archway.
4. Activate Arid Archway by tapping it, adding CC.
5. Resolve the Arid Archway trigger from step 2, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a self-bouncing land into an infinite mana engine by utilizing Tiller Engine to instantly untap Arid Archway whenever it enters the battlefield tapped. Patron of the Moon provides the crucial activation cost that continually drops Arid Archway back onto the battlefield from your hand, while Arid Archway's own triggered ability does the work of returning itself to your hand after you tap it for two colorless mana. Because you generate more mana than Patron of the Moon requires to activate, you net infinite colorless mana and endless landfall triggers along the way.
