How it works

1. Donate Blightbeetle to an opponent
2. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing the undying creature.
3. When the undying creature dies, its undying ability triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield without a +1/+1 counter on it due to Blightbeetle.
4. Resolve the Shilgengar ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

By utilizing Donate, you hand your opponent control of Blightbeetle, whose static ability prevents your opponents' creatures from ever receiving +1/+1 counters. With this restriction locked in on the opponent's side of the board, you can feed creatures to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine to generate Blood tokens without worry. When an undying creature hits the graveyard, its triggered ability attempts to place a counter upon its return, but Blightbeetle's passive effect steps in to strip that counter away. This completely bypasses undying's usual one-shot restriction, allowing you to sacrifice the exact same creature endlessly to Shilgengar, Sire of Famine for an infinite supply of death triggers, artifact tokens, and Blood.
