How it works

1. Cast Strength of Will by paying 1, targeting Herd Baloth.
2. Put a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters, Warstorm Surge triggers, dealing damage to Herd Baloth.
5. Herd Baloth triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This delightful loop turns self-inflicted damage into an unstoppable stampede by weaponizing the synergy between your battlefield and your triggers. It all begins when you target Herd Baloth with Strength of Will, priming the beast to grow larger whenever it takes damage instead of succumbing to it. As Warstorm Surge watches over your battlefield, every new token that arrives immediately hurls damage back at the Baloth. That incoming damage triggers the exact +1/+1 counters that Herd Baloth needs to churn out yet another beast, keeping the cycle of token creation and damage flowing infinitely.
