How it works

  1. Cast Soul Collector by paying 3B manaB mana.
  2. When Soul Collector enters the battlefield, Warstorm Surge triggers, causing Soul Collector to deal damage to itself equal to its power.
  3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Soul Collector, adding one mana of any color.
  4. When Soul Collector dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  5. Resolve the ability from step 3.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
