How it works

1. Cast Strength of Will by paying 1, targeting Scurry Oak.
2. Put a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters, Warstorm Surge triggers, dealing damage to Scurry Oak.
5. Scurry Oak triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
6. Repeat from step 3.

This delightful loop transforms a simple pump spell into an engine of endless growth. It all starts when Strength of Will grants Scurry Oak indestructible and the vital ability to turn damage into +1/+1 counters, allowing it to safely withstand incoming punishment. Once you kick things off by placing a counter on Scurry Oak, its own trigger spins up a brand-new Squirrel token, which in turn causes Warstorm Surge to rain down damage directly onto Scurry Oak itself. That damage triggers Strength of Will's replacement-style growth to place yet another counter on Scurry Oak, looping back into Scurry Oak to continuously spawn tokens and power up your board without end.
