How it works

1. Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing The Master, adding .
2. When The Master dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns The Master, Formed Anew into an infinite engine by leveraging its unique ability to enter as a copy of an exiled card. First, you exile Driver of the Dead beneath The Master when casting it, allowing The Master to enter the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead. From there, you feed that copy to Thermopod to generate red mana and send it to the graveyard, where its inherited death trigger immediately pulls it right back to the battlefield—reborn once more as a copy of Driver of the Dead to restart the cycle.
