How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing The Master.
2. When The Master dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to The Master's power.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns The Master, Formed Anew into an infinite mill engine by borrowing the resurrection skills of Driver of the Dead. When you sacrifice The Master to Altar of Dementia, its death triggers both its own ability to return as a copy of the Driver and the Driver's triggered ability—which pulls the original Driver right back to the battlefield to ensure the cycle continues indefinitely. Because The Master re-enters as a copy with the Driver's exact stat line and triggers, Altar of Dementia happily mills your opponent's library away card by card with every repetition.
