How it works

1. Activate Shilgengar by sacrificing The Master
2. When The Master dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead.
3. Repeat.

This macabre loop relies on Shilgengar, Sire of Famine to sacrifice creatures and churn out Blood tokens, fueling the engine to reanimate your graveyard en masse. By using The Master, Formed Anew: Body Thief as the initial sacrifice, its clever copy mechanic lets it return disguised as Driver of the Dead instead. Because Driver of the Dead naturally plucks small creatures back from the graveyard upon dying, it seamlessly loops the master-at-arms right back into play to repeat the cycle endlessly.
