How it works

1. Cast Appa by paying 2
2. When Appa enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Felidar Guardian with the ability to cast it later from exile.
3. Cast Felidar Guardian from exile by paying 0.
4. When Felidar Guardian enters, it triggers, blinking Appa.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop turns Appa, Steadfast Guardian into an engine of endless iteration by sending Felidar Guardian into exile with its airbend ability, where it can then be cast for free thanks to Sage of the Beyond reducing spells cast from anywhere other than your hand by {2}. Once Felidar Guardian re-enters the battlefield, its own trigger blinks Appa, resetting the entire sequence and allowing you to churn out infinite tokens, triggers, and storm count.
