How it works

  1. Cast Chord of Calling by paying at most 4G manaG manaG mana, searching your library for Felidar Guardian and putting it onto the battlefield.
  2. When Felidar Guardian enters, Felidar Guardian and Preston trigger.
  3. Resolve the Felidar Guardian trigger, blinking another permanent you control.
  4. Resolve the Preston trigger, creating a token copy of Felidar Guardian that is a 0/1 Illusion.
  5. When the Felidar Guardian token enters the battlefield, it triggers, blinking the nontoken Felidar Guardian.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
