How it works

1. Cast Appa by paying
2. When Appa enters, its first ability triggers, exiling Felidar Guardian with the ability to cast it later from exile.
3. Cast Felidar Guardian from exile by paying 0.
4. Appa's second ability triggers, creating a 1/1 Ally creature token
5. When Felidar Guardian enters, it triggers, blinking Appa.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop relies on a continuous cycle of exile and return to flood the board, anchored by Appa, Steadfast Guardian and Felidar Guardian blinking each other back and forth. Because Appa's airbend ability lets you cast the exiled Felidar Guardian for a reduced cost, and Thornscape Familiar and The Wind Crystal work together to discount white spells by a total of {2}, you can recast Felidar Guardian completely for free. Every time that free cast leaves exile, Appa's second ability triggers to reward you with a 1/1 white Ally creature token, generating an infinite storm count and an endless army of creatures.
