How it works
- Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least 3.
- Activate Saheeli by paying and tapping it, creating a token copy of Great Whale with haste.
- When the token Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
- Repeat.
- If you control up to seven lands that can tap to produce at least 4, this combo nets infinite mana, and you may target any other creature(s) or artifact(s) using Saheeli's ability.
This loop relies on Saheeli, the Sun's Brilliance to constantly churn out hasty token copies of Great Whale, whose enter-the-battlefield trigger untaps your lands to pay for the activation costs and net extra mana. While the step-by-step sequence uses the lands to fund Saheeli, Umbral Mantle sits quietly in reserve, ready to be equipped for zero mana to pump your creatures or provide an alternative untapping engine if needed. By continuously repeating this process as long as your lands produce enough mana, you generate infinite mana along with endless entry, exit, and sacrifice triggers for your entire board.
