How it works
Declare Walker of Secret Ways as an attacker.
When it isn't blocked, activate up to seven lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 3.
Activate Great Whale's ninjutsu ability by paying 2 and returning Walker of Secret Ways from the battlefield to your hand, putting Great Whale onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.
When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
Activate Walker of Secret Ways's ninjutsu ability by paying 1 and returning Great Whale from the battlefield to your hand, putting Walker of Secret Ways onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.
Repeat from step 2.
If you control up to seven lands that can tap to produce at least 4, this combo nets infinite mana.
This clever loop relies on Satoru Umezawa to grant every creature in your hand ninjutsu, turning your attackers into a revolving door of ninja tricks. By alternately swapping Great Whale and Walker of Secret Ways in and out of play, you can leverage the Whale's entry trigger to continuously untap your lands and fund the cycle while netting extra mana. Along the way, Satoru Umezawa even lets you filter through the top of your library to find whatever pieces you need, transforming a simple combat exchange into an endless fountain of mana and triggers.
