How it works

1. Declare Throat Slitter as an attacker.
2. When it isn't blocked, activate up to seven lands you control by tapping them, adding at least 4.
3. Activate Great Whale's ninjutsu ability by paying 2 and returning Throat Slitter from the battlefield to your hand, putting Great Whale onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.
4. When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
5. Activate Throat Slitter's ninjutsu ability by paying 2 and returning Great Whale from the battlefield to your hand, putting Throat Slitter onto the battlefield from your hand tapped and attacking.
6. Repeat from step 2.
7. If you control up to seven lands that can tap to produce at least 5, this combo nets infinite mana.

This ingenious loop turns Satoru Umezawa's blanket ninjutsu grant into an endless engine of battlefield entry and exit. By repeatedly swapping Throat Slitter and Great Whale in and out of play, you continuously trigger the Whale's land-untapping ETB to fund the mana costs of each subsequent ninjutsu activation. Meanwhile, Satoru Umezawa's triggered ability lets you dig deep into your library for answers along the way, turning a mana-neutral or mana-positive loop into a devastating tactical advantage.
