How it works

1. Activate Plate Armor's equip ability by paying 0, targeting Cephalid Aristocrat.
2. Cephalid Aristocrat triggers, causing you to mill two cards.
3. Resolve Plate Armor's ability, attaching it to Cephalid Aristrocrat.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop puts Plate Armor's cost reduction to work by targeting Cephalid Aristocrat with its own equipment ability over and over again for free. Because targeting the Aristocrat with an ability is all it takes to trigger its mill clause, you don't even need the equipment to actually move or resolve favorably to grind through your entire library. It’s a wonderfully bizarre way to empty your own deck straight into the graveyard using just a suit of armor and a cephalid.
