How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Golgari Rot Farm.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Zuran Orb by sacrificing Golgari Rot Farm.
5. When Golgari Rot Farm dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Golgari Rot Farm from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Golgari Rot Farm enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Zuran Orb ability
8. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the static land-transforming power of Toph, the First Metalbender into an infinite engine by leveraging Toph, Hardheaded Teacher's ability to animate our assets into lands. By casting a zero-mana artifact, we trigger Toph, Hardheaded Teacher to earthbend Golgari Rot Farm into a creature-land, which we can then promptly sacrifice to Zuran Orb for a steady stream of life. Thanks to Toph, the First Metalbender's passive type-changing ability, Golgari Rot Farm's entry trigger treats the bounced artifact as a land, allowing us to endlessly replay it to sustain the cycle.
