How it works

1. Activate Imagecrafter by tapping it, causing Ley Weaver to become an Elf until end of turn.
2. Activate Golgari Rot Farm by tapping it, adding .
3. Activate Ley Weaver by tapping it, untapping Wirewood Lodge and Golgari Rot Farm.
4. Activate Wirewood Lodge's second ability by paying and tapping it, untapping Ley Weaver.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop lets you turn a humble engine into an infinite mana-producing machine by rewriting creature types on the fly. Imagecrafter sets the stage by turning Ley Weaver into an Elf, allowing Wirewood Lodge to untap it with its second ability. Meanwhile, Ley Weaver's own tap ability untaps Wirewood Lodge alongside Golgari Rot Farm, which provides the green mana required to keep the Wirewood Lodge activation going while generating a surplus of black mana.
