How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Golgari Rot Farm.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Golgari Rot Farm.
5. When Golgari Rot Farm dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Golgari Rot Farm from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Golgari Rot Farm enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability
8. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on Toph, the First Metalbender turning your artifacts into lands, allowing Golgari Rot Farm to bounce them right back to your hand when it enters the battlefield. As you recast your free artifact, Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers its earthbend ability to turn your Golgari Rot Farm into a creature that can be sacrificed to Bartolomé del Presidio. When that land-creature dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teacher brings it straight back to the battlefield tapped, allowing Golgari Rot Farm's entry trigger to retrieve the artifact and letting Bartolomé del Presidio grow larger with endless +1/+1 counters.
