How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Golgari Rot Farm.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Golgari Rot Farm.
5. When Golgari Rot Farm dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Golgari Rot Farm from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Golgari Rot Farm enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Resolve the Yahenni ability
8. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Toph, the First Metalbender to turn your nontoken artifacts into lands, transforming ordinary items into reusable fodder. When you recast and sacrifice those artifact-lands, Golgari Rot Farm returns them to your hand thanks to its entry trigger—which is continuously refueled because Golgari Rot Farm itself is constantly dying and coming right back via Toph, Hardheaded Teacher's earthbend clause. Meanwhile, Yahenni, Undying Partisan safely devours your looping land-creatures to keep the engine going indefinitely, triggering a mountain of deaths and spell casts.
