How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Golgari Rot Farm.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Lithatog by sacrificing Golgari Rot Farm.
5. When Golgari Rot Farm dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Golgari Rot Farm from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.

With that foundation set, you cast a zero-mana artifact, letting Toph, Hardheaded Teacher trigger its spell-casting earthbend ability on Golgari Rot Farm. You then sacrifice that land-artifact to Lithatog's activation cost; thanks to the earthbend clause ensuring the land returns to the battlefield tapped upon death, it conveniently triggers Golgari Rot Farm's own enters-the-battlefield ability to bounce your original artifact back to your hand. Repeating this cycle feeds Lithatog an endless stream of sacrifices while flooding the board with boundless landfall, death, and entry triggers.
