How it works

1. Cast the artifact by paying 0.
2. Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers, earthbending Golgari Rot Farm.
3. Resolve the artifact spell.
4. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Golgari Rot Farm.
5. When Golgari Rot Farm dies, Toph, Hardheaded Teach triggers, returning Golgari Rot Farm from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
6. When Golgari Rot Farm enters, it triggers, returning the artifact cast in step 1 from the battlefield to your hand, as it's a land due to Toph, the First Metalbender.
7. Repeat.

This engine transforms ordinary artifacts into lands thanks to Toph, the First Metalbender, allowing your battlefield to recognize key pieces like a zero-mana artifact as both a permanent type and a bounce target. Whenever you cast that artifact, Toph, Hardheaded Teacher triggers its earthbend ability to turn Golgari Rot Farm into a creature, which you can immediately sacrifice to Thermopod for red mana. Because Golgari Rot Farm is a land, its death triggers the safety net of Toph, Hardheaded Teacher to bring it right back to the battlefield, where its enter-the-battlefield trigger forces you to return your zero-mana artifact back to your hand to repeat the cycle indefinitely.
