How it works

1. Activate six lands by tapping them, adding at least 4.
2. Mirari's Wake triggers six times, adding 4.
3. Cast Palinchron by paying 5.
4. When Palinchron enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands you control.
5. Activate Palinchron by paying 2, returning it to your hand from the battlefield.
6. Repeat.

This classic combo relies on the mana-doubling magic of Mirari's Wake to turn Palinchron's entrance trigger into a self-sustaining loop. Because Mirari's Wake causes every tapped land to produce double its usual mana, tapping just six lands easily yields the twelve mana required to cast Palinchron again after using its own activation to bounce it back to your hand. Each iteration leaves you with extra mana while infinitely repeating the creature's enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield events.
