How it works

1. Cast Spark Double by paying 3, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Enduring Scalelord with a +1/+1 counter on it.
2. Enduring Scalelord triggers, putting +1/+1 counter on itself.
3. Spark Double triggers, putting +1/+1 counter on itself.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This self-sustaining loop relies on a clever trigger-loop between two creatures that constantly feed each other's growth. Once Spark Double enters the battlefield as a nonlegendary copy of Enduring Scalelord, placing that initial counter on itself acts as the catalyst for the entire sequence. From there, whenever Enduring Scalelord gets a counter, Spark Double's copied ability triggers to put a counter on itself, which in turn triggers the original Enduring Scalelord right back in an infinite loop of mutual empowerment.
