How it works

1. Cast Quasiduplicate by paying 1, creating a token copy of Enduring Scalelord.
2. Put a +1/+1 counter on either Enduring Scalelord.
3. The Enduring Scalelord who didn't have the counter put on it triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself.
4. Repeat step 3.

This elegant loop comes together when you use Quasiduplicate to conjure a token copy of Enduring Scalelord, bringing a second dragon into your ranks. Once you place an initial +1/+1 counter on either of the Scalelords, their triggered abilities see the event and trigger each other back and forth indefinitely. Because each dragon constantly reacts to the counters placed on its counterpart, the pair feeds into an endless feedback loop that piles infinitely large +1/+1 counters onto both your original creature and its token copy.
