How it works

1. Activate Warren Soultrader by paying 1 life and sacrificing another creature.
2. When the creature dies, Elas il-Kor's second ability triggers, causing each opponent to lose 1 life.
3. Resolve the Warren Soultrader ability, creating a Treasure token and a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
4. When the Squirrel enters the battlefield, Elas il-Kor's first ability triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Warren Soultrader into an infinite engine by feeding it a steady stream of sacrificial fodder, completely fueled by Chatterfang, Squirrel General's replacement effect which doubles every Treasure token creation into an accompanying 1/1 green Squirrel token. Whenever those creatures enter and depart the battlefield, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim anchors the combo by offsetting the life paid to the Soultrader with guaranteed life gain on entry and draining away your opponents' life totals on every single death trigger.
