How it works
- Gain life.
- Heroic Feast triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Elas il-Kor triggers, causing you to gain life.
- Repeat from step 2.
This loop relies on a clever cycle of life and growth: any initial lifegain triggers Heroic Feast to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. Because counters were placed on Basking Broodscale, its ability triggers to create an Eldrazi Spawn token, which immediately causes Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim to trigger when it enters the battlefield and grant you a life. That new life restarts Heroic Feast's trigger, letting you repeat the entire process indefinitely to drain out your opponents.
