How it works
- Activate the creature with Careful Cultivation and Umbral Mantle attached by tapping it, adding .
- Activate the creature by paying 1 and untapping it, causing it to get +2/+2 until end of turn.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns any creature into an unstoppable engine by granting it the explosive mana-producing talent of Careful Cultivation, allowing it to tap for two green mana. To sustain the cycle, Umbral Mantle provides the untap ability needed to ready the creature repeatedly, while Training Grounds cleverly slashes the activation cost of that untap ability from three mana down to just one. Because tapping yields two green mana and untapping costs only one, you net infinite green mana while simultaneously pumping the creature to infinitely large proportions for the turn.
