How it works

1. Activate the creature with Umbral Mantle attached using Evendo, Waking Haven's ability by paying and tapping it, adding at least
2. Activate the creature by paying 3 and tapping it, giving the creature +2/+2 until end of turn.
3. Repeat.

By leveraging Steward of the Harvest as a chameleon of mana, you can ingest land cards into its exile zone so it absorbs their native potential—most notably turning into a massive mana engine once Evendo, Waking Haven is swept into the graveyard and consumed. Equipping this creature with Umbral Mantle allows you to continuously untap it using the very mana it generates, since the Mantle's untap ability can be fueled directly by the land abilities the Steward has stolen. By cycling through these activations, you feed the loop more than enough green mana to profit while simultaneously pumping the creature to astronomical proportions.
