How it works

1. Activate Umbral Mantle's equip ability by paying 0, targeting another nontoken creature you control.
2. Monk Gyatso triggers, airbending the targeted creature.
3. The Umbral Mantle ability fizzles due to no longer having a legal target.
4. Cast the creature from exile by paying 0 due to Advanced Reconstruction.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around Monk Gyatso, who triggers every time you target one of your creatures with a spell or ability—even something as innocuous as Umbral Mantle's free {0}-cost equip ability. Because Monk Gyatso's trigger responds by exiling the target creature and letting you recast it later for {2}, Advanced Reconstruction steps in to completely bypass that mana cost, allowing you to cast the airbent creature for free from exile once it has been milled and randomly exiled by the Class's Level 1 ability. Advanced Reconstruction's Level 3 further ensures your economy runs smoothly if needed, while Umbral Mantle provides the infinitely repeatable targeting vector to keep the entire engine spinning.
