How it works

1. Activate Thranduil using Woodland Weavemaster's ability by tapping it, adding an amount of mana equal to Thranduil's power that can only be spent to cast Elf spells or activate abilities of Elves.
2. Activate Thranduil using the ability granted to it by Umbral Mantle by paying 3 and untapping it, giving it +2/+2 until end of turn.
3. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns Thranduil, the Elvenking into a powerhouse by letting him borrow the activated abilities of your other Elves in the graveyard. Woodland Weavemaster sets the foundation by tapping to produce mana scaled to its own power, an ability Thranduil gains access to. Meanwhile, Umbral Mantle provides the untap mechanism—also accessible to Thranduil—that fuels the recursion loop for a small mana investment. Each time you tap and untap Thranduil with this setup, his power permanently grows thanks to Umbral Mantle's buff, which in turn exponentially increases the mana produced by the Woodland Weavemaster ability.
