Kodama of the East Tree + Delina, Wild Mage + Dimir Aqueduct
Kodama of the East Tree
Delina, Wild Mage
Dimir Aqueduct
Infinite landfall triggers
How it works
Create a nonlegendary copy of Kodama of the East Tree using Delina (this may involve additional steps depending on the card used).
Play Dimir Aqueduct.
When Dimir Aqueduct enters, both Kodama of the East Trees and Dimir Aqueduct trigger.
Resolve the nonlegendary Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
Resolve the Dimir Aqueduct trigger, returning it to your hand.
Resolve the legendary Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Dimir Aqueduct onto the battlefield.
The nonlegendary Kodama of the East Tree and Dimir Aqueduct trigger.
Resolve the Dimir Aqueduct trigger, returning it to your hand.
Resolve the nonlegendary Kodama of the East Tree's trigger, putting Dimir Aqueduct onto the battlefield.
The legendary Kodama of the East Tree and Dimir Aqueduct trigger.
Repeat from step 5.
This clever loop relies on duplicating your commander to turn a humble bounce land into an engine of endless triggers. When you use Delina, Wild Mage to swing and successfully spawn a nonlegendary copy of Kodama of the East Tree, you double up on the legendary spirit's triggered ability. Dropping Dimir Aqueduct sets off a cascade where its own entry trigger bounces itself back to your hand while the two Kodamas trigger alternately to keep dropping it right back onto the battlefield. Because Kodama's ability doesn't care about mana values when chaining cards of equal value back and forth, you get an infinite loop of permanents entering the battlefield to feed any landfall strategy you desire.
