How it works
- Declare Delina as an attacker, triggering its ability, targeting any creature.
- Holding priority, activate Lithoform Engine's first ability by paying 2 and tapping it, copying Delina's trigger, with the copy targeting Zealous Conscripts.
- Resolve the copy of Delina's trigger, creating at least one token copy of Zealous Conscripts that is tapped and attacking.
- When the Zealous Conscripts token(s) enter the battlefield, they trigger, untapping Lithoform Engine and up to one other applicable permanent for each remaining trigger.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Zealous Conscripts token, adding CC.
- Repeat from step 2.
This ingenious loop sets off a chain reaction by leveraging Delina, Wild Mage to repeatedly clone Zealous Conscripts upon attack. As those token copies enter the battlefield, their triggered abilities untap Lithoform Engine, which in turn pays off its small mana cost to copy Delina's attack trigger and keep the cycle spinning. Meanwhile, Ashnod's Altar stands ready to harvest the overflowing creature tokens for colorless mana, fueling the engine indefinitely.
