How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Lurrus, adding 1.
2. When Lurrus dies, Angelic Renewal and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
3. Resolve the Angelic Renewal trigger, causing you to sacrifice it and return Lurrus from your graveyard to the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
6. Cast Angelic Renewal from your graveyard by paying 1.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop relies on Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice Lurrus of the Dream-Den for mana, which simultaneously feeds Pitiless Plunderer to generate a Treasure token whenever Lurrus hits the graveyard. While that Treasure can be cracked for the white mana needed to recast Angelic Renewal, it's Angelic Renewal's own sacrifice trigger that instantly rescues Lurrus and returns her directly to the battlefield. Finally, Lurrus of the Dream-Den's own static graveyard-casting ability lets you replay the sacrificed Angelic Renewal straight from your graveyard to reset the entire cycle indefinitely.
