How it works

  1. Activate Arcbound Ravager by sacrificing Tatterkite
  2. When Tatterkite dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its static effect.
  3. Resolve the Arcbound Ravager ability.
  4. Repeat.

This clever loop centers around the clever interaction between Tatterkite and Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's back face, which grants your other nontoken creatures persist. Normally, persist leaves behind a crippling -1/-1 counter, but Tatterkite's static ability completely prevents counters from ever being placed on it, allowing it to return from the graveyard completely unscathed every single time. By using Arcbound Ravager to continuously sacrifice the stubborn construct, you generate an endless stream of artifact and creature sacrifices, leaves-the-battlefield, and enters-the-battlefield triggers. Meanwhile, Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn is hidden on the front side of your transforming card waiting to help cast your creature spells with convoke, though in this specific graveyard dance, it's Isilu's persistent resurrection that keeps the engine roaring—ultimately letting you pile infinite +1/+1 counters onto the Ravager or force a game draw.
