How it works

1. Activate Tidewater Minion's last ability by tapping it, targeting itself.
2. Illusionist's Bracers triggers, copying the Tidewater Minion ability, targeting any other permanent.
3. Resolve both Tidewater Minion abilities, untapping Tidewater Minion and the other target.
4. Activate that permanent by tapping it for mana or other results if possible.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a simple untapper into an engine for infinite activations. By equipping Illusionist's Bracers to Tidewater Minion, you double down on its active ability: the original targets the Minion itself to keep the chain going, while the copied ability can target any other permanent you control. Because the Minion's untap ability isn't a mana ability, the Bracers effortlessly trigger every time you tap it, allowing you to repeatedly untap both the Minion and another productive permanent like a land or artifact.
