How it works

1. Activate the creature hat can deal damage by tapping it, targeting Cacophodon.
2. Illusionist's Bracers triggers, copying the creature's ability, targeting any applicable target.
3. Resolve the creature's ability, dealing 1 damage to any target and then dealing 1 damage to Cacophodon.
4. Cacophodon triggers, untapping the creature that deals damage.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious setup turns a humble dinosaur into an engine of limitless potential, resting entirely on the amplification provided by Illusionist's Bracers. By equipping those Bracers to a creature capable of dealing direct damage—such as one that taps to ping targets—you weaponize its activated ability to repeatedly strike Cacophodon. Every time Cacophodon takes that damage, its *enrage* ability triggers to untap your damage-dealer, while the Bracers simultaneously duplicate the ping to strike another target or repeat the loop. This creates a self-sustaining cycle that easily converts into infinite damage for your opponents or infinite mana from any permanents you control that can tap for it.
