How it works

1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Forsaken Miner, adding .
2. When Forsaken Miner dies, Fecundity triggers, causing you to draw a card.
3. Lyla triggers, targeting a creature an opponent controls.
4. Forsaken Miner triggers, causing you to pay to return Forsaken Miner from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Lyla trigger.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the humble Forsaken Miner into an endless engine by using Phyrexian Altar to sacrifice it for black mana while simultaneously triggering Fecundity to draw a card. That drawn card instantly causes Lyla, Holographic Assistant to place a +1/+1 counter on an opponent's creature, which legally counts as committing a crime and fulfills the exact condition needed to pay {B} and bring the Miner right back to the battlefield. Because the mana generated by the Altar pays for the Miner's revival cost, you can repeat this cycle infinitely to draw your deck, trigger endless deaths, and flood the board with enter-the-battlefield triggers.
