How it works

1. Activate Doom Whisperer by paying 2 life.
2. Repeat step 1 until Greven has power 21 or greater due to its first ability.
3. Deal combat damage to an opponent using Greven. The opponent loses the game due to being dealt 21 or more combat damage from your commander.

This brutal partnership turns your own life total into a lethal weapon, letting you convert vitality directly into raw power. By repeatedly activating Doom Whisperer, you can sink as much life as you need into its surveil ability, which immediately triggers Greven, Predator Captain to swell with an enormous attack bonus. Once Greven towers over the battlefield with a power of 21 or greater, you simply send him into the red zone to deal lethal commander damage and finish off an unsuspecting opponent in a single blow.
