How it works

1. Cast Lion's Eye Diamond either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 0
2. Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
3. Activate Lion's Eye Diamond by discarding your hand and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Lion's Eye Diamond from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the self-sacrificing mana of Lion's Eye Diamond into an engine of endless recursion by leveraging the counter generation of Showdown of the Skalds. When you crack the Diamond for mana, Arcbound Reclaimer uses a +1/+1 counter—conveniently supplied each time you cast the artifact thanks to the Saga's second and third chapters—to place the Diamond right back on top of your library. From there, Fortune Teller's Talent lets you look at and replay the Diamond directly from the top of your deck for free, repeating the cycle to generate infinite colored mana, artifact triggers, and storm count.
