How it works

1. Cast Lion's Eye Diamond by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Lion's Eye Diamond by discarding your hand and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Lion's Eye Diamond from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
7. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in recursion, turning the graveyard into an endless engine powered by Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and its trigger-happy historic spellcasting. As you cast Lion's Eye Diamond, Teshar answers the call by pulling Scrap Trawler straight out of the graveyard and onto the battlefield. From there, you crack Lion's Eye Diamond for three mana—discarding your hand in the process—and immediately feed Scrap Trawler to Bartolomé del Presidio's sacrifice outlet. Because Scrap Trawler just hit the graveyard, its passive ability triggers to return the sacrificed Lion's Eye Diamond right back to your hand, ready to be cast all over again to restart the entire cycle and grow Bartolomé del Presidio with endless +1/+1 counters.
