How it works

1. Cast Lion's Eye Diamond by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Lion's Eye Diamond by discarding your hand and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Krark-Clan Grunt by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Lion's Eye Diamond from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Krark-Clan Grunt ability.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns graveyard recursion into an infinite engine by leveraging Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and Scrap Trawler in tandem. When you cast Lion's Eye Diamond, Teshar triggers to pull Scrap Trawler back from the graveyard, and sacrificing the Diamond yields the mana needed to keep casting historic spells while triggering the Trawler's ability. To reset the loop, you use Krark-Clan Grunt to sacrifice Scrap Trawler, which allows the Trawler's own death trigger to return the Lion's Eye Diamond directly to your hand.
