How it works

1. Cast Tormod's Crypt by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Tormod's Crypt by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Tormod's Crypt from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious little recursion loop uses Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle to continually pull Scrap Trawler back from the dead every time you cast a historic spell like Tormod's Crypt. As the Tormod's Crypt hits the graveyard from its own sacrifice, it triggers Scrap Trawler to bounce right back to your hand so you can cast it all over again. Meanwhile, Phyrexian Altar acts as your mana-producing sacrifice outlet, letting you feed Scrap Trawler to the altar to keep the cycle going while generating an infinite supply of colored mana.
