How it works

1. Cast Tormod's Crypt by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Tormod's Crypt by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Tormod's Crypt from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a recursive recycle bin of artifacts and historic spells, anchored by Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and their historic spellcasting trigger. Every time you recast Tormod's Crypt, Teshar plucks Scrap Trawler right back out of the graveyard. Meanwhile, sacrificing Scrap Trawler to Thermopod not only fuels your mana pool with red mana, but triggers Scrap Trawler's ability to bounce Tormod's Crypt safely back to your hand.
